We live in an unjust, world where only a few have access to the security, rights and resources for a decent quality of life. This unfairness is maintained by our economic and social systems, built on foundations of slavery, empire and extraction. We live in a burning world, with these systems also driving the climate and ecological crises. Those of us with privilege in the Global North are protected (for now) from most of these effects. How can we face these realities? What if it's overwhelming, painful, or I feel powerless? This week we'll step into these questions, with the dharma to give us insight, togetherness and strength through Milla's Seven Paths of Responsiveness. It's for you if you feel ready to turn away from turning away, and towards responsiveness, solidarity and action.
